The gist. This school started in 2002 and sits on a beautiful campus made of four large, classic houses.
What sets it apart. They use a special teaching method that lets you change your class times whenever you need to. The campus also has its own cafe, a library, and a small movie theater.
Best for. Students who need a flexible schedule and want to prepare for university.
I could not speak any Spanish when I arrived. However, the excellent teachers helped me talk with confidence in just a few weeks. The campus is beautiful and has a great cafeteria where you can chat with other students from all over the world.
5. UI Formación Centro de Idiomas
The gist. This school in the Benimaclet neighborhood started in 2022, and its eleven teachers teach five different languages.
What sets it apart. They focus on real-world speaking and listening rather than boring grammar drills. You will study in small groups with custom worksheets, which keeps the classes relaxed and fun.
Best for. People of all ages who want to practice speaking in a friendly, stress-free space.
I love studying Spanish here because the teachers are so friendly and make the lessons highly enjoyable. It feels like a comfortable conversation rather than a strict class. The classes have a perfect rhythm and force you to speak a lot, which is brilliant if you are afraid of making mistakes.
6. Españolé Ih
The gist. Located right in the old center of Valencia, this school offers fast-paced lessons and fun cultural trips.

Best for. Students who want to study in a historic building and enjoy fun activities after class.
The school is inside a stunning old palace, and the staff make you feel welcome from day one. My teachers had so much energy and patience, which helped me feel comfortable speaking Spanish outside of class. The weekly activities like yoga were fantastic, and everything was perfectly organised.
7. Route 66 Idiomas SL
The gist. This downtown school has been teaching Spanish since 2005 with a team of fourteen friendly teachers.
What sets it apart. The school is officially approved by the Spanish government's language institute. Classes are small, with a limit of ten students. They also help you with visa paperwork and have a 24-hour emergency phone line.
Best for. Students who want small classes in the city center and need help moving to Spain.
The teachers are so warm and patient, and they helped me go from a complete beginner to speaking Spanish with confidence. My private online lessons were excellent because the teacher adapted the grammar to my personal interests and learning style. I had a very unpleasant and rude response from the founder when I contacted them about a business inquiry.

The gist. This approved school offers deep-dive language courses and helps you get ready for official tests.

I came here for my exam and found a very clean, organised space with a wonderful team that always helps you with a smile. The teachers are so friendly and create a relaxed space where you are never scared to ask questions, which helped me learn so much in six months.
