# First steps: Where I'm from

> Listen in as Lucía and Bruno talk about where they come from in real, everyday Spanish. By the end of this course their conversation will feel easy to follow, and you'll be ready to join in.

**Setting:** A bus stop on a busy street in Madrid on a weekday morning. Lucía waits here every day, and today Bruno starts talking to her. They use tú with each other.

## Lessons

### 1. Saying which country you're from

Lucía and Bruno get talking at the bus stop and find out they are from different countries.

### 2. Saying which city you're from

Lucía and Bruno name the cities they grew up in.

### 3. Saying where you live now

Lucía and Bruno discover they both live in Madrid.

Lucía and Bruno work out that they live a couple of streets apart.

Lucía and Bruno compare the languages they each speak.
