# Talking about British telly

> Master everyday English conversation by listening to Sophie and Daniel's conversation about popular TV shows and the culture of British television. It may feel challenging at first, but by the end of this course you will be able to fully understand and participate.

**Setting:** While visiting Glasgow's West End for a weekend charity event, Sophie and Daniel find themselves sharing a table at a cosy café near Hillhead station. Over hot cups of tea, they quickly bond over their shared love of British television and find plenty to discuss.

## Lessons

### 1. Asking where someone lives

Sophie and Daniel greet each other over a cup of tea and ask each other where they live.

### 2. Describing different places

Sophie and Daniel talk about the weather and beauty of the Lake District and Cornwall.
