# Spanish at the bar

> Join Lucía and Daniel for ordering drinks and introducing yourself, one short conversation at a time. Each lesson trains your ear until you can follow every word and answer back.

**Setting:** At a bustling, historic pintxo bar in the Parte Vieja of San Sebastián, patrons are packed shoulder-to-shoulder. Lucía is taking a much-needed study break while Daniel is visiting the city for a weekend gig, and the two strike up a conversation when they end up sharing the last remaining spot at the bar counter.

## Lessons

### 1. Asking for a seat

Lucía asks Daniel if there is space to sit down in a crowded place, and they introduce themselves.

### 2. Saying where you are from

Lucía and Daniel exchange greetings, share their hometowns, and realize they are both traveling.

### 3. Talking about your job
