# First steps: Buying clothes

**Language:** French
**CEFR Level:** A1

> Master shopping for clothes by listening to Alice and Paul's conversation about finding the right size. It may feel challenging at first, but by the end of this course you will be able to fully understand and participate.

**Setting:** A small clothes shop on a side street in Strasbourg on a quiet afternoon. Alice came in to look around and Paul is the only person working. Both hold vous throughout.

## Lessons

### 3. Asking for another colour

### 4. Asking to try something on

Alice asks to try the T-shirt on, and Paul points out the changing room.

### 5. Saying something is too big

The medium is too big, so Paul fetches Alice a small.

### 6. Saying something fits well

Alice tells Paul the smaller T-shirt is just right.

### 7. Buying what you chose
