# First steps: Numbers, prices and paying

**Language:** Portuguese
**CEFR Level:** A1

> Join Alice and Jorge for a Saturday morning of prices and change, one short conversation at a time. Each lesson trains your ear until you can follow every word and answer back.

**Setting:** A fruit and vegetable stall at the Mercado do Bolhão in Porto, busy but not rushed, with bread and eggs from the farm at one end. Alice comes most weeks and Jorge knows her face. Both hold the polite form throughout.
