# First steps: Numbers, prices and paying

**Language:** Polish
**CEFR Level:** A1

> Join Basia and Marek for a Saturday morning of prices and change, one short conversation at a time. Each lesson trains your ear until you can follow every word and answer back.

**Setting:** A fruit and vegetable stall at the Saturday market in Wrocław, busy but not rushed, with bread and eggs from the farm at one end. Basia comes most weeks and Marek knows her face. They hold the polite pan and pani form throughout.
