# Nuovo Espresso Plus 2, Unit 5: Planning a summer trip

**Setting:** A table outside a bar in a square in the old town of Brescia, aperitivo time on a Friday evening in May. Cristina has been to the same farm stay in Calabria twice and asks her friend Federico to come along this August. His holiday in Greece last year went wrong from the first day. They use tu with each other from the first line.

## Lessons

### 1. Inviting a friend on holiday

Cristina asks Federico to come to Calabria with her and two friends, and he says yes at once.

Federico tells Cristina how last summer's trip to Greece went wrong.

Cristina tells Federico how to get from the farm stay to a quiet beach, and they drink to August.
