# Nuovo Espresso Plus 2, Unit 1: Shopping for a present

**Language:** Italian
**CEFR Level:** A2

> Master shopping for a present by listening to Pietro and Camilla's conversation in a small clothes shop in Venice, which pairs with the themes of unit 1 of Nuovo Espresso Plus 2. It may feel challenging at first, but by the end of this course you will be able to fully understand and participate.

**Setting:** A small clothes shop in Cannaregio, Venice, on a Saturday afternoon in November. Pietro needs a birthday present for his sister, who turns thirty tomorrow, and usually buys everything online. Camilla works in the shop. They use tu with each other from the first line, as small shops in Venice do with young customers.
