# Nuevo Prisma A1, Unit 2: First day at the campsite

> Listen in as Noelia and Youssef get to know each other on their first morning at a campsite, in real, everyday Spanish, pairing with the themes of unit 2 of Nuevo Prisma A1. By the end of this course their conversation will feel easy to follow, and you'll be ready to join in.

**Setting:** The staff hut of a campsite near Llanes, in Asturias, at eight in the morning on the first of July, the first day of the season. Noelia has just been hired; Youssef is back for his second summer. They have never met. They use tú with each other from the first line.

## Lessons

### 1. Meeting a new colleague

Youssef and Noelia meet in the staff hut on the first morning and introduce themselves.

### 2. Saying what you study

Youssef asks Noelia if she is a student, and she tells him what she studies and where.

### 3. Asking someone's age

Noelia asks Youssef how old he is, and he teases her for being so young.

### 4. Saying where you live

Noelia asks Youssef where he is from, and they find out where each of them lives.

### 5. Talking about jobs and workplaces

Youssef tells Noelia he is a waiter in winter, and she tells him what her parents do.

### 6. Sorting out the uniform

Noelia and Youssef work out which colour T-shirt goes with which job.

### 7. Asking which one is yours

Noelia asks which key is for reception, and they go off to start their first day.
