# Nederlands in gang 7: Buying a winter coat

**Language:** Dutch
**CEFR Level:** A1

> Master shopping for a coat by listening to Kofi and Esmee's conversation in a clothes shop in Alkmaar, which pairs with the themes of chapter 7 of Nederlands in gang. It may feel challenging at first, but by the end of this course you will be able to fully understand and participate.

**Setting:** A small clothes shop in the centre of Alkmaar on a Saturday afternoon in October. Kofi cycles to work every day and needs a warmer coat before winter. Esmee works in the shop and is honest about what suits people. They use je with each other from the first line.
