# Nederlands in gang 5: Shopping at the market

**Language:** Dutch
**CEFR Level:** A1

> Listen in as Jonas and Ria pick out vegetables at a market stall in real, everyday Dutch, pairing with the themes of chapter 5 of Nederlands in gang. By the end of this course their conversation will feel easy to follow, and you'll be ready to join in.

**Setting:** A fruit and vegetable stall at the Haagse Markt in Den Haag on a Saturday morning in September. Jonas is buying what he needs for a curry tonight. Ria has had the stall for thirty years and has an opinion about everything on it. They use je with each other, as Dutch market traders do.
