**Setting:** The city's lost property office in Magdeburg on a Tuesday morning. Yasemin left her bag on a number 2 tram last night, with her ID, driving licence, bank card and keys inside. Uwe has worked at the counter for twelve years. They use Sie with each other throughout.

## Lessons

### 1. Reporting something lost

Yasemin tells Uwe she left her bag on the tram, and he asks which line.

### 2. Describing it

Uwe asks what the bag looks like, and Yasemin describes it.

### 3. Saying what was inside

Uwe asks what was in the bag, Yasemin lists her documents and keys, and he goes to look in the back.

### 4. Picking it out

Uwe brings out two bags, and Yasemin recognises the second one.

### 5. Proving it's yours

Uwe asks which cards are in the wallet, and Yasemin's answer matches.

### 6. Saying what you've had done

Uwe asks if she has blocked her bank card, and Yasemin tells him the new one is on its way.

### 7. Signing for it

Yasemin signs for the bag and pays the fee, and Uwe tells her to look after it.
