# Menschen A1.2, Unit 17: Plans on the beach

**Language:** German
**CEFR Level:** A1

> Master talking about your plans by listening to Marie and Finn's conversation on the beach about life after school, which pairs with the themes of unit 17 of Menschen A1.2. It may feel challenging at first, but by the end of this course you will be able to fully understand and participate.

**Setting:** The beach at Warnemünde at sunset on a summer evening. Marie sat her last school exam today, and she and Finn, a friend from the sailing club, sit on the sand with a drink and talk about what comes next: where she wants to go, who with, and what she wants to be. Finn is in the last year of his carpentry training and has plans of his own. They use du with each other from the first line.
