# Menschen A1.1, Unit 8: Making plans after a run

**Language:** German
**CEFR Level:** A1

> Master making plans by listening to Svenja and Arne's conversation about a trip to the cinema after their Sunday run, which pairs with the themes of unit 8 of Menschen A1.1. It may feel challenging at first, but by the end of this course you will be able to fully understand and participate.

**Setting:** The end of the running group's Sunday morning loop round the Maschsee in Hannover. Svenja and Arne have run together every week for a year but have never met outside the group. Arne suggests the cinema; Friday doesn't work for her, so they find another day and a time, and then she sees how late it is. They use du with each other from the first line.

## Lessons

After the run, Arne asks Svenja if she's free on Friday and suggests the cinema.

### 4. Agreeing on a time

### 5. Saying you don't know
