# Menschen A1.1, Unit 12: Back from holiday

**Language:** German
**CEFR Level:** A1

> Listen in as Inga and Lars catch up on the stairs after her trip to Norway in real, everyday German, pairing with the themes of unit 12 of Menschen A1.1. By the end of this course their conversation will feel easy to follow, and you'll be ready to join in.

**Setting:** The stairwell of an old building near the harbour in Kiel on a Monday evening in late July. Inga is carrying her bags up after three weeks in Norway, and her neighbour Lars, who stayed in Kiel all summer, stops to ask about the trip. They talk about where she went, what he did at home, and which season each of them likes. They use du with each other from the first line.
