# Menschen A1.1, Unit 11: A new job's first week

**Language:** German
**CEFR Level:** A1

> Master talking about your day by listening to Hannah and Bene's conversation about her first week at a new job, which pairs with the themes of unit 11 of Menschen A1.1. It may feel challenging at first, but by the end of this course you will be able to fully understand and participate.

**Setting:** The steps by the Aasee in Münster on a Friday evening in May, with a drink each after work. Hannah has just finished her first week at a company that builds cargo bikes, and her friend Bene, who works from home, asks how it went. She tells him what she did; then he tells her about his day, which wasn't much. They use du with each other, as old friends do.
