# Menschen A1.1, Unit 10: Asking at the travel centre

**Language:** German
**CEFR Level:** A1

> Join Gisela and Marco for a cancelled train and a new route at Karlsruhe's main station, one short conversation at a time, pairing with the themes of unit 10 of Menschen A1.1. Each lesson trains your ear until you can follow every word and answer back.

**Setting:** The DB travel centre at Karlsruhe's main station, around one on a weekday. Gisela's direct train to Konstanz, where her daughter's family lives, has been cancelled. Marco at the counter finds her another train with a change in Offenburg, then sees a delay that turns out not to matter. They use Sie with each other throughout, as a customer and a clerk do.
