# Hiking the Mercantour National Park

> Master French outdoor and travel vocabulary by listening to Léa and Nicolas's conversation about hiking the stunning Mercantour National Park. It may feel challenging at first, but by the end of this course you will be able to fully understand and participate.

**Setting:** Léa and Nicolas are hiking a section of the challenging GR5 trail through the Mercantour National Park, sharing trail tips and refuge meals along the way. They met at a trailhead shuttle in Nice and decided to team up for safety and company during their mountain trek.

## Lessons

### 1. Introducing yourself to a stranger

While hiking the Mercantour trail, Nicolas and Léa introduce themselves and discuss where they are from.
