# First steps: What I like

> Join Vera and Nils for a Saturday morning of tasting things at the market, one short conversation at a time. Each lesson trains your ear until you can follow every word and answer back.

**Setting:** A Saturday flea market in Stockholm, food stalls at one end and secondhand things at the other. Vera and Nils have been friends since school and come here most weeks. They use du with each other.

## Lessons

### 1. Saying something tastes good

Vera gives Nils something to try and he loves it.

### 2. Saying you don't like something

Vera and Nils disagree about the soup, which he finds too salty.

### 3. Saying something is too expensive

Vera and Nils find a picture they both like, until they hear the price.

### 4. Talking about music and films

Vera and Nils find they agree about music but not about films.

### 5. Saying you don't like sport

Nils loves football and Vera wants nothing to do with it.

### 6. Agreeing with someone

Vera and Nils discover they both cook and both dislike shopping.

### 7. Making a plan with a friend

Nils and Vera decide to cook together.
