# Édito A2, Unit 1: Running into an old friend

**Language:** French
**CEFR Level:** A2

> Master catching up with someone by listening to Céline and Antoine's conversation about the twenty years since school, which pairs with the themes of unit 1 of Édito A2. It may feel challenging at first, but by the end of this course you will be able to fully understand and participate.

**Setting:** A café in Lille-Flandres station on a Friday around six. Antoine's train home to Arras is forty minutes late, and Céline, who lives in Lille, walks past his table. They were at lycée together and have not seen each other for nearly twenty years. They use tu with each other, as old school friends do.
