# Édito A1, Unit 9: Booking a country guesthouse

**Language:** French
**CEFR Level:** A1

> Master booking a room by listening to Grégoire and Isabelle's conversation about a guesthouse in the Dordogne, which pairs with the themes of unit 9 of Édito A1. It may feel challenging at first, but by the end of this course you will be able to fully understand and participate.

**Setting:** A phone call in early October between Liège, in Belgium, and a chambre d'hôtes in an old farmhouse near Sarlat, in the Dordogne. Grégoire wants three nights for himself and his wife over the autumn half-term. Isabelle runs the guesthouse. They use vous with each other throughout.
