# Édito A1, Unit 5: At a secondhand clothes sale

**Language:** French
**CEFR Level:** A1

> Join Bastien and Pauline for a winter coat hunt at a secondhand clothes sale, one short conversation at a time, pairing with the themes of unit 5 of Édito A1. Each lesson trains your ear until you can follow every word and answer back.

**Setting:** A vide-dressing in a community hall in Tours on a Sunday morning in October, with clothes on tables and rails. Pauline is selling half her wardrobe before she moves. Bastien, a student who cycles everywhere, needs a winter coat. They use tu with each other, as people their age do at a sale like this.

### 4. Talking about the weather

Pauline tells Bastien the coat is warm, and they agree the winter is going to be cold and wet.

### 5. Asking the shoe size

### 6. Asking what something is for
