# Debating French political history

> Master French political discourse by listening to Thomas and Chloé's conversation about the nation's most controversial historical legacies. It may feel challenging at first, but by the end of this course you will be able to fully understand and participate.

**Setting:** While attending a historical book and gastronomy fair in Marseille's vibrant Cours Julien, Thomas and Chloé meet over coffee to passionately debate French political history. They find themselves returning to the same sunny terrace every afternoon of the festival to continue their friendly but spirited arguments.
