> Master casual Chinese conversation by listening to 浩宇 and 雨桐's conversation about the little details of daily life together. It may feel challenging at first, but by the end of this course you will be able to fully understand and participate.

**Setting:** A cozy, sunlit apartment in Shanghai's Jing'an district where Haoyu and Yutong have recently moved in together. Despite their busy lives and different schedules, this shared home is where they reconnect daily to unwind, complain about their commutes, and plan their meals.

## Lessons

### 1. Offering a drink to someone

Haoyu welcomes Yutong home after a tiring day and offers her a warm cup of tea to help her relax.

### 2. Describing fatigue and physical pain

Yutong talks about her long hours of teaching and explains to Haoyu how tired she is and how her feet hurt.

### 3. Asking about and estimating quantities

Haoyu shares that he also had a busy day at the teahouse, and Yutong asks him to estimate how many customers visited.
