# Kletsen bij de hockey club

**Setting:** The sidelines of the Kampong hockey club in Utrecht serve as the weekly meeting point where Eva and Stijn wait during their children's training sessions and Saturday morning matches. Over the course of seven weeks, they strike up a regular conversation to pass the time, sharing the hectic realities of balancing freelance work, school schedules, and family life.

## Lessons

### 1. Catching up with an acquaintance

Eva and Stijn run into each other at their children's sports training and chat about busy morning routines and how Eva's family is settling into Utrecht.

### 2. Discussing work and rising costs

Stijn asks Eva about her costume-making business, and the two discuss the rising membership fees at their children's sports club.

### 3. Discussing children's extracurricular activities

Eva and Stijn talk about how their children are enjoying their sports, including Stijn's daughter's struggle with early Saturday morning practices.

### 4. Talking about busy work schedules

Eva and Stijn bond over their morning tiredness before Eva asks Stijn about how his courier route in Lombok is going.
