# Catching up with a friend

**Setting:** Katarzyna and her old friend Krzysztof meet up at a cozy café in the Nadodrze district of Wrocław to catch up on their lives. Over coffee and pastries, they share everyday complaints and simple pleasures, from rising prices to weekend plans.

## Lessons

### 1. Asking what someone is doing

Katarzyna and Krzysztof run into each other in Wrocław and chat about why they are in town and how they are spending their weekend.

### 2. Asking how much something costs

Krzysztof offers to buy Katarzyna coffee and cake, but they are both shocked by the high prices at the cafe.

### 3. Comparing prices in different cities

Katarzyna and Krzysztof compare the cost of coffee in Wrocław, Warsaw, and Poznań, leading Katarzyna to invite him to her cheaper hometown.
