# At the German bakery

**Setting:** The course is set at a traditional bakery counter in Munich-Giesing and the sunny kitchen of a nearby holiday apartment. Old friends Felix and Marie are meeting up for the weekend, sharing the daily routine of buying fresh bread and setting up a classic Sunday breakfast table.

## Lessons

### 1. Comparing regional words

Felix and Marie look at the bread selection and discuss the different regional German words for bread rolls.

### 2. Ordering food at a bakery

After Marie mentions a third regional term for bread rolls, Felix steps up to place his order.

### 3. Adding items to an order
